The Ashton Garage Doors Group has opened a new branch in Ashburton.  Ashton Garage Doors Mid-Canterbury is being run by local rugby and water skiing representative, Mark MacGregor.  Mark has excellent knowledge and experience of all things garage doors - from choosing the correct profile and colour, to advising on repairs and installation.

Ashton's has a full range of architectural garage doors as well as being New Zealand's largest distributor of Garador garage doors - one of the most recognisable and oldest brand of garage doors in the country.

Ashton Garage Doors Canterbury have moved to larger premises - from Unit 9 to Unit 2, 21 Michelle Road. The move to this new unit provides Ashton's with a much larger manufacturing facility, as well as larger showroom space. The showroom is being upgraded to include two working garage doors as well as plenty of garage door samples. Congratulations to our Ashtons Garage Doors North Habour Manager, Edwin Richards who has been awarded life membership of the Red Beach Surf Club.

Edwin began his surf life saving career at 14 years of age for the South Brighton Club in Christchurch, moving North to Red Beach in 1978.  He has patrolled Red Beach for well over 20 years and has been part of the club's management team for five years.  As well as having a very successful career in surf competitions, Edwin has also been a selector for Surf Live Saving New Zealand and coach of the New Zealand Development Squad.

Ashtons Garage Doors Canterbury recently set up a display at Stand # 62 in the Home Ideas Centre in Christchurch.  A very successful Home Show was held at the Centre on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August 2013.  Chris Averill, Managing Director of Ashtons Garage Doors said that visitors were particularly impressed with the working example of a sectional insulated garage door and the new Flex-a-Door.
