The Ashton “Vienna
V-Line” sectional door is manufactured using
0.75mm BMT Zinc-based steel to help ensure the
resulting panel is as free from ‘oil-canning’
as possible from a smooth finish door.
The unique “V” Groove
adds a clean architectural look to any building
project, with each panel containing two “V”
Grooves, and to complete the consistency of the
design, each join between the panels is designed
to continue the “V” Groove look, providing
seamless flow up and down the door profile.
The panel is created from a folded
Zinc-based steel sheet with galvanized end-styles
and muntins attached. The Panels are then powder-coated
on both sides to one of many available standard
powder-coat colours available.

This style, as well as all the other
Ashton Doors can be fully insulated with a recognized
glass -fibre batt style insulation that provides not
only valuable thermal insulation, but also provides
very good thermal insulation as well. Instead of using
Polystyrene as seen in other manufacturers doors, the
product Ashton Doors uses is nationally recognized as
an acceptable insulation that is not prone to expand
or shrink, mould, or harbor bacteria or fungus, It is
also non carcinogenic, and non combustible.
A sectional garage door is produced
by hinging a number of rigid panels together. These
panels move vertically in the opening, then horizontally
along the ceiling guided by tracks and counterbalanced
with springs.
